 A flash mob (or inexplicable mob) is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, do something unusual for a brief period of time, then quickly disperse.
News media and commentators have often misused the term "flash mob" to refer to nearly any form of public gathering.
A flash mobbing is well co-ordinated and the actual task they do at the venue is kept secret by the organiser until before the event. Imagine some 200 people rushing in and act in some strange way like clapping loudly, walking like a robot or asking for the same nonexistent merchandise at a shop, you would realise how confused the spectators at the venue would be.
